Hello and Welcome to Rusty Rocks Farm Alpacas!
We are an Alpaca farm located in Dover, PA., a small town located between York and Harrisburg. We welcome farm visitors and love to show visitors our farm. Please call us to schedule a visit 717-292-6166.
Our farm is situated on 7 acres surrounded by farm and beautiful wooded forest. The name of our farm comes from the many rocks and rusty old items I seem to collect and decorate with at the farm.
I am a long time fiber artist, which has taken me on the journey in Alpaca ownership. I truely love Alpacas and the lovely warm fiber they provide. I pationately hand process most of my Alpaca Fleece into beautiful one of a kind roving which I then handspin into beautiful yarn.
Our farm has alot to offer anyone interested in learning more about the Alpaca livestock business. We can provide you with the knowledge of skirting fleeces for hand processing with my carding equipment or show you how to prepare for the fiber mill. I can also show you first hand how to dye the fiber and hand spin the
fiber into a beautiful homespun yarn for knitting. Rusty Rocks also welcomes knitting group field trips, just email or call to schedule your visit! We are a full service Alpaca Farm.
Check out our newly opened farm store where we sell quality Alpaca Clothing. We have a large inventory of Socks, hats, scarves, Blankets and Shawls. I hand knit many one of kind items; baby hats, adult hats and scarves, to name a few. You can also check out my Homespun Yarn and Hand painted roving. Tell you friends and come visit soon!
