Meet Xena my princess! Xena is a new addition to Rusty Rocks (xmas 2014) and we are very happy to have her as part of our herd as a lovely fiber producer.
Xena has a beautiful light fawn fleece. Lots of coverage and crimp! These picture do not do her justice. She has a cute short muzzle with dark tipping! and her sweet personality is much to be appreciated. She is very gentle and calm and does not seemed to be bothered by human presence, a sought after trait in many alpaca handlers.
Princess Xena was bred with Matrix Rum Raisen and gave us a beautiful Medium brown Girl
born May 1, 2016.
She had a prolapsed Uterus during delivery and ended up rejecting her baby. There is a 50% chance that is could happen again if she were to be rebred.
We have tried a rebreed to Ace of Spades and our expecting a spring 2019 cria.
